Fundraising Fundraising Opportunities
The Band Parents Association offers a number of different opportunities for your child and family to help raise money to offset the costs of running the marching band program. Some fundraising activities go towards the general band fund; some can be placed into a student's individual account to help offset band/music related expenses including any band trips. Fundraisers for Student's Individual Accounts
King Soopers Reloadable Cards and Safeway Certificates is an ongoing fundraiser where all proceeds go directly into your child's band account. To learn how to purchase, contact Sandy Korn or Sharon Weil. Entertainment Books are sold at the beginning of every school year. We're still waiting on details of this year's sale. Last year, students received $11 credit for each book sold plus a free book if 4 or more were sold.

ButterBraids are usually sold in the fall in time for delivery before Thanksgiving. Also, we have added selling cookie dough as an additional offering. Contact Pam Eades for questions or additional information.

Senior Portraits are another opportunity to add money to your student's account... even if your student isn't a senior. Click Senior Portraits for more information.

Year-round Fundraisers for the General Fund
iGive.com is a new program with big potential for profits. If you shop online, check out this site! There are hundreds of vendors who offer proceeds of 2-26% every time you shop online through iGive. See the iGive tab for more information. Think what an impact we'd have if we all did some holiday shopping through iGive!
Cartridges for Kids. Save your used printer cartridges (both at home and the office) and old cell phones. Drop-off boxes are located in the Band Room. Proceeds from your donations come in every quarter.
Ongoing Fundraisers for the General Fund
Back to School Night BBQ: We sell a BBQ dinner to staff and parents who are coming for Back to School Night. Baked good donations and volunteers are needed.
Tesone Fundraising Campaign: Flyers go home with your child to send to friends and family asking for a monetary donation. Some kids sent an additional letter with pictures, etc. Mr. Libby provides information on this campaign to students and parents during the beginning of Band Camp.
Restaurant Nights: Area restaurants will give the BPA a percentage of sales from diners on a given day or night. Details to be determined. A chairperson is needed for this great fundraiser during band season.
